Happy Father's Day!

Daddy spent the morning riding his new bike (Father's Day gift from the boy and I) and when he gets home we'll go out for lunch. I hope you all have a wonderful Father's Day! I am thankful every day that my son has a great dad. My son has a dad who doesn't hit, who is demonstrative, who says "I love you," who gives kisses and hugs with the same ease that he rough houses. My son has a dad who puts him to bed almost every night (and falls asleep himself.) A dad who loves to take naps as a family every weekend, even letting the dog get in on the action. My son has a daddy who never fusses about changing diapers or cleaning up messes. A dad who supported me while I breastfed, who encouraged me to keep going when I wanted to quit, who calls himself a "breastfeeding snob" and talks about the benefits of nursing to anyone who will listen. We love you, Daddy! Thanks for being you.
